Ethics & Standards
The principal of Arbus Capital Management, Arden Rodgers, a CFA charterholder, is a member of the CFA Institute and is bound by its code of ethics.
“Every CFA charterholder, CFA Institute member, and CFA candidate signs an annual statement agreeing to adhere to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
“These code and standards require them to:
- Place their clients' interests ahead of their own
- Maintain independence and objectivity
- Act with integrity
- Maintain and improve their professional competence"
- CFA Institute
In addition, as a registered investment advisor, Arbus Capital Management and its principal are bound by a “Fiduciary Standard” rather than a “Suitability Standard.” The fiduciary standard requires an advisor to place client interests ahead of his (its) own interests.
